The long term aim was to help encourage cross-border lending as referred to in the WHITE PAPER on the Integration of EU Mortgage Credit Markets. The three-year programme developed the demonstrator into a live service that was officially launched as a live service on 22 November 2006.
The EULIS e-platform offers on-line access to land and property information from participating countries.
