Example 2: England & Wales to Ireland

  • Use the numbered navigation to move through the slides.
  • Click on the link for Land Registry Direct.
  • Go to the Land Registry England & Wales website and view the homepage.
  • Locate the link for Land Registry Direct on the homepage (orange hexagon).
  • Select Login (Authorised user only) and pop-up appears.
  • Type in login details.
  • Type in memorable details.
  • You are logged into Land Registry Direct. Click on the link to Land Registry Direct to continue.
  • You are logged into Land Registry Direct. Click on enter to continue.
  • Messages for England & Wales subscribed users appear in this screen.
  • You are into the main screen. You can see the EULIS menu button on the right-hand side of the screen, in the second area down.
  • Once you click on EULIS, you navigate to a screen with EULIS notes for England & Wales customers. Click enter to continue.
  • England & Wales user arrives at the EULIS portal and finds the list of countries available.
  • User would like to search in Ireland and clicks on this link.
  • User checks a variety of reference information to help understand how the market for land and property registration works in Ireland.
  • User sees the link for the glossary in the right-hand corner and clicks on this link to find out if a common term means the same in England & Wales and Ireland.
  • User reads conditions of use, found in top right-hand corner of the screen.
  • England & Wales user opens Irish application.
  • Landdirect.ie welcomes you to the service via EULIS and asks you to choose a service from the list.
  • User wants to locate the property via the map facility.
  • Map facility for locating registered land and property in Ireland.
  • User chooses the county of Dublin.
  • User types in address known and views matches found in the box underneath.
  • User clicks on appropriate match and the map shows the results.
  • User zooms on the map to locate the Land Registry building.
  • Used the Identify Folio tool to select feature on the map and view documents available.
  • Landdirect.ie warns user of fee for transaction and asks for a unique reference.
  • Folio content summary shown.
  • User selects the document available and clicks on View Selected. Folio details appear.
  • User views and save pdf of folio full details.
